Grade 12 Final Exam — CryoCove Lifelong Practice
For Students
This exam covers the Grade 12 CryoCove curriculum across all nine Coaches: Food, Brain, Sleep, Move, Cold, Hot, Breath, Light, and Water. Grade 12 is the capstone year — each Coach's chapter teaches cultural traditions, the lifespan view, integration with the other Coaches, and a personal philosophy you write in your own voice.
This is the final exam of a four-year curriculum. The exam tests the science you have learned, the integration you have built, and your ability to articulate a thoughtful relationship with your own body across the long life ahead.
Read each question carefully. For multiple-choice questions, select the single best answer. For short-answer questions, write 2-4 complete sentences. For the synthesis essay, follow the prompt instructions; this is the culminating piece of your CryoCove curriculum.
You may not use notes, textbooks, or electronic devices during the exam unless your teacher specifies otherwise.

Estimated Time
- Each Coach section: ~60 minutes
- Synthesis essay (capstone): ~45-60 minutes
- Total recommended time: ~10-11 hours across 3 to 5 testing sessions of 2-3 hours.
Safety-Critical Content Notes for Teachers
Several Grade 12 sections cover content that warrants sensitive teaching:
- Section A (Food) addresses diet culture, disordered eating, and food autonomy; flagged
founder_review_required: true. - Section C (Sleep) addresses the bidirectional sleep-mental-health relationship.
- Section I (Water) addresses cultural water traditions descriptively (with explicit attention to cultural respect and non-appropriation) and water across the lifespan.
- The synthesis essay is the culminating capstone of four years; many Coaches' Grade 12 chapters end with a capstone-style essay. Be prepared for personal vulnerability in student work.
The cultural-traditions content in multiple Grade 12 chapters is presented descriptively, not as practice. Teachers should:
- Invite students from named traditions to add nuance from their lived experience
- Discourage performance of traditions without invitation or community context
- Honor traditions not named in the chapter (students may add from their backgrounds)
For Teachers
This exam is modular by design. Each Coach section is a self-contained file. Teachers may administer all nine sections + synthesis essay as a comprehensive final, or a subset if curriculum was taught partially.
