Cold exposure carries risks including hypothermia, cold shock response, cardiac stress, and nerve damage. It is contraindicated for individuals with cardiovascular disease, Raynaud's disease, cold urticaria, open wounds, or compromised circulation. Never practice cold immersion alone. Always start gradually and consult your physician before beginning cold exposure protocols.
Heat exposure carries risks including dehydration, heat exhaustion, heat stroke, and cardiovascular stress. It is contraindicated for individuals with uncontrolled blood pressure, heart disease, pregnancy, or those taking medications that affect thermoregulation. Stay hydrated, limit session duration, and consult your physician before starting heat exposure protocols.
Certain breathwork techniques can cause dizziness, lightheadedness, tingling, hyperventilation, and in rare cases, loss of consciousness. Never practice advanced breathwork techniques in or near water, while driving, or in any situation where loss of consciousness could be dangerous. Those with epilepsy, panic disorders, cardiovascular conditions, or respiratory conditions should consult their physician before practicing breathwork.
Physical exercise carries inherent risks of injury, including muscle strains, joint injuries, and cardiovascular events. Any exercise program should be started gradually and adapted to your current fitness level. Consult your physician before beginning a new exercise program, especially if you have been sedentary, have cardiovascular concerns, or have musculoskeletal issues.
Any discussion of supplements, vitamins, minerals, or nutritional strategies is for educational purposes only. Supplements are not regulated by the FDA in the same manner as pharmaceuticals.
