Grade 11 Final Exam — CryoCove Systems Integration
For Students
This exam covers the Grade 11 CryoCove curriculum across all nine Coaches: Food, Brain, Sleep, Move, Cold, Hot, Breath, Light, and Water. Grade 11 is the systems year — each Coach moves from "How to live with [domain]" (Grade 10) to "How [domain] interacts with the rest of you" (Grade 11). The exam tests the science of those interactions and how to reason about them.
Read each question carefully. For multiple-choice questions, select the single best answer. For short-answer questions, write 2-4 complete sentences. For the synthesis essay, follow the prompt instructions and cite specific evidence from at least four Coach chapters.
You may not use notes, textbooks, or electronic devices during the exam unless your teacher specifies otherwise.

Safety-Critical Content Notes for Teachers
Several sections cover content that warrants sensitive teaching:
- Section B (Brain) addresses substance effects on the developing brain in neurological-observation framing.
- Section D (Move) addresses body image, exercise compulsion, and disordered patterns. Students may bring lived experience to these topics; respond with care and general referral framing.
- Section C (Sleep) addresses clinical insomnia and CBT-I; the answer key explicitly directs students toward healthcare provider involvement.
- Section G (Breath) addresses sleep-disordered breathing and mental-health support resources; uses general referral language.
- Section I (Water) addresses cognition-hydration research honestly, including effect sizes — preparing students for media literacy around health claims.
For Teachers
This exam is modular by design. Each Coach section is a self-contained file. Teachers may administer all nine sections + synthesis essay as a comprehensive final, or a subset if curriculum was taught partially.
